The DAHUA XVR4108C‑I is a compact and intelligent 8‑channel Penta‑brid WizSense XVR built for flexible surveillance. It supports multiple video formats—analog and network—with up to 10 IP channels (2 native ports + 8 via analog conversion), each allowing resolutions up to 6 MP, and a total bandwidth capability of 32 Mbps.

Equipped with SMD Plus, the recorder filters motion alerts to distinguish between humans and vehicles and avoid false triggers. It delivers efficient video compression using AI-enhanced H.265+, saving bandwidth and storage without sacrificing image quality.

Recording supports dual-stream encoding, providing smooth playback while reducing file sizes. Video output is available on both HDMI and VGA simultaneously at up to 1080p resolution, and two-way audio is handled over coaxial RCA connectors.

It includes a single SATA bay supporting up to 16 TB HDD, and runs on embedded Linux with ONVIF compatibility, a modern web UI, and support for remote monitoring via mobile and web apps. Alarm triggers can be set to activate under specific AI-detected motion events.
