UGREEN 80423 Cat7 Ethernet Cable 2m Black

The UGREEN 80423 Cat7 round Ethernet cable provides a wired connection between compatible RJ45 network devices. Its 2-metre length is convenient for linking a computer, gaming console, smart TV or network switch to a nearby router.

Rated for network speeds up to 10Gbps and a frequency bandwidth of 600MHz, it is suitable for file transfers, streaming and everyday network use. F/FTP shielding combines foil around each twisted pair with an overall foil layer to help reduce interference. The cable uses 30AWG pure copper conductors and gold-plated contacts.

Q&A

1. What connectors does this cable have?
It has an RJ45 male connector at each end for standard Ethernet network ports.

2. What is the maximum supported speed?
The cable is rated for up to 10Gbps. Both connected devices and the rest of the network must support that speed.

3. Will it make my internet connection 10Gbps?
No. Internet speed remains limited by your service plan, router and device. The cable’s rating describes its supported network capability.

4. Can I use it with a PS5 or Xbox?
Yes, with a console that has an RJ45 Ethernet port. Connect it to a suitable LAN port on your router or network switch.

Yes, if the device has an Ethernet port. A laptop without one requires a compatible Ethernet adapter, sold separately.

6. Is it compatible with Cat5e and Cat6 networks?
Yes. It can connect compatible RJ45 Ethernet equipment operating at lower speeds. It will not upgrade the speed capability of older hardware.

7. Does it require drivers or a separate power supply?
No. The cable itself needs neither. Connect both ends securely; your device may require wired-network settings to be selected.

8. Is this a round or flat cable?
It is a round cable with a black braided exterior, measuring 2 metres long.

9. What does F/FTP shielding mean?
It means the individual twisted pairs have foil shielding, with additional foil shielding around the complete wire bundle. This helps reduce electromagnetic interference.
