The Optimus L298N DC Motor Driver Module is a dual H-bridge motor driver designed to control the speed and direction of two DC motors or a single stepper motor. It is based on the L298N IC, which can drive motors up to 2A per channel and operate with motor voltages from 5V to 35V.

This version of the Optimus module includes an LM317 voltage regulator, used to produce a stable 5V output from the input voltage, making it suitable for powering control circuits like Arduino or logic-level inputs directly from the motor power source.
