Design and handling
The Xiaomi 15T has a flat, matte-finished fiberglass back and a plastic frame, giving it a solid feel and a sophisticated look, though the build quality is not as premium as the Pro model's aluminum frame. The boxy, iPhone-like design is fairly large and may feel unwieldy for users with smaller hands. The phone comes in metallic colors such as Black, Gray, and Rose Gold.

Display and performance
The phone's large AMOLED display provides a vibrant and smooth viewing experience. Its 120Hz refresh rate is a slight downgrade from the previous model's 144Hz but is still excellent for general use. With the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor, the Xiaomi 15T offers fast and smooth performance for everyday tasks and most games, with effective thermal management.

Camera system
With a Leica-tuned triple-camera system, the Xiaomi 15T can produce high-quality photos with good detail and color accuracy. However, the absence of autofocus on the ultra-wide lens and the lower-quality digital zoom are notable limitations compared to the more advanced setup on the 15T Pro. Video recording is available at up to 4K resolution at 60fps across the rear lenses.

Battery life
The 5,500 mAh battery provides excellent battery life, capable of lasting more than a full day, even with heavy usage. While the 67W fast charging is quick, it is slower than the Pro model, and the phone lacks wireless charging capabilities.

Software
The Xiaomi 15T ships with HyperOS 2, a customizable and feature-rich Android skin. While it comes with pre-installed bloatware, the software is easy to get used to and offers advanced features like "Offline Communication".
