37left.lk (“we”, “us”) is a price comparison platform for products sold by retailers in Sri Lanka. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account data: if you create an account, we store your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile information (name, email, profile picture).
- Saved products and alerts: products you save and price alert preferences are stored against your account.
- Newsletter: if you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you submit.
- Usage data: we use Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly, no cookies, no personal data) and, with your consent, Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.
How We Use Your Information
- To operate the site and deliver features such as saved products and price alerts.
- To send you the alerts and emails you have opted in to.
- To understand site usage in aggregate and improve the product.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser localStorage to remember your theme preference, your cookie consent choice, and recently viewed items. We do not use cookies for advertising. With your consent (via our cookie banner), we enable Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies. Plausible Analytics does not use cookies at all.
