The
Cable Tie 2.5x100mm White (100pcs Pack) is an industrial-grade nylon zip tie bundle engineered for wire organization, cable harnessing, robotic routing, and general-purpose fastening. Molded from tough, virgin Polyamide 66 (Nylon 6/6), each tie features an integrated one-piece ratcheting pawl and closely spaced transverse serrations that deliver smooth insertion and high tensile retention. Measuring 100 mm in total length with a slim 2.5 mm width, this versatile pack is sized to secure small-diameter wire bundles, electronics breadboard harnesses, 3D printer cabling, and automotive wiring looms with a clean, low-profile white finish.

Features
- High-Tensile Virgin PA66: Manufactured without cheap regrind plastic, ensuring high elasticity, bend fatigue resistance, and cold-weather toughness without brittle snapping during tensioning.
- Precision Self-Locking Ratchet: Features an integrated non-slip pawl head that bites firmly into the linear track serrations, preventing back-slipping even under constant mechanical vibration.
- Bent, Tapered Tail: Ergonomically curved, smooth tail design speeds up manual threading into the locking head, even when working in tight enclosures or wearing technician gloves.
- Clean White Aesthetics: Blends cleanly into white electronics enclosures, white wire management raceways, wall anchors, and commercial IT server cabinet setups.
- High Dielectric Isolation: Completely non-conductive plastic construction ensures zero risk of electrical shorts or ground loops when securing live high-voltage or low-voltage wire looms.
Common Applications
- Electronics & PCB Wire Harnessing: Bundling multi-color ribbon cables, jumper wires, sensor leads, and DC power rail cabling inside custom chassis boxes.
- 3D Printer & CNC Loom Management: Securing Bowden tubes, stepper motor wiring harnesses, and hotend thermocouple cables along drag chains and aluminum extrusion frames.
- Robotics & Drone Platforms: Fastening electronic speed controllers (ESCs), receiver antennas, camera video cables, and battery leads to carbon fiber or acrylic chassis plates.
- Automotive & Motorcycle Electrical Work: Neatening auxiliary lighting wires, GPS module cabling, and relay box wiring harnesses.
- Desktop PC Cable Routing: Managing internal power supply cables, SATA lines, and fan headers behind motherboard trays.
Usage Tips
- Tensioning & Trimming Flush (CRITICAL):
- After pulling the cable tie snug around the bundle, cut the excess strap flush with the locking head using flush cutters (diagonal micro-cutters).
- Avoid using standard wire strippers or dull utility scissors, which leave sharp, protruding plastic burrs that can easily cut skin or snag adjacent wiring during maintenance.
- Bundle Tensioning Caution:
- Avoid over-cinching cable ties around fragile signal lines, such as thin coaxial antenna leads, ribbon cables, or unshielded data wiring.
- Excessive clamping force can crush the internal cable dielectric or pinch conductors, causing signal degradation or impedance mismatches. Tighten until the bundle is secure and cannot slide freely.
- Outdoor & UV Exposure Notice: These white cable ties are molded from natural PA66, making them ideal for indoor electronics, sealed enclosures, and protected machinery. For prolonged, direct outdoor sunlight exposure, use UV-stabilized black cable ties containing carbon black additives to prevent photo-oxidation and brittleness over time.
- Humidity & Plastic Toughness: Nylon 6/6 naturally absorbs atmospheric moisture (2% to 3%) to maintain its flexural toughness. If storing the pack in an arid, air-conditioned workshop for long periods, keep the polybag sealed until use to prevent the ties from drying out and snapping during installation.
