The Samsung Galaxy A16 is a budget smartphone sold in both 4G (LTE) and 5G variants. Both share a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution (1080x2340) and up to 800 nits peak brightness, along with a 5000mAh battery supporting 25W wired charging and an IP54 splash-resistance rating.
The two variants differ mainly in their chipset: the 5G model uses a Samsung Exynos 1330 (or, in some markets, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset), while the 4G-only model uses a MediaTek Helio G99. Both are paired with RAM options of 4GB, 6GB or 8GB and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, running Android 14 with One UI on top.
Camera-wise, both variants use a 50MP main rear camera as part of a multi-lens setup, with a front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The phone was announced in October 2024.
