Third person shooter in which players take on the roles of Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn or King Shark as they are released from Arkham Asylum to fight the invasion forces of Braniac, which are trying to take over Earth. The other characters can be taken by AI or by other online players.

This game features some graphic violence. If the player’s character leaves the mission area and does not return within the designated time period, a device implanted in their head will detonate causing their skull to explode with a spray of blood and tissue, as their body collapses to the ground. Cinematic scenes feature strong violence, including characters being knocked together until unconscious, a character being stamped on, and a suggestion of a finger being removed, although this is not explicitly shown. When enemy alien characters are hit, they react realistically and there is sight of blood. There is sight of characters bleeding after violence, including with shuriken sticking out of their necks.

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of a virtual currency, which can then be spent on cosmetics, characters, and battle passes. Some parents or carers may want to be aware of this. Parents, carers, or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items. The game also includes use of strong language (‘fuck’) and sexual innuendo.
